They've got it covered and ready to rock your world.
Meet the Members
Dave Mikulskis
Lead Vocals, Piano, Guitar
There were two things that mattered most to Dave growing up: baseball and music. Not much has changed. Both remain a huge part of his life today.
A diehard Cubs fan, Dave pursued music with the same passion he brought to baseball. Influenced by legendary bands such as The Beatles, Foreigner, Boston, Journey, and Styx, he spent years listening, learning, and absorbing pieces of what made those artists great—eventually developing a vocal style and stage presence all his own.
Known for his perfect pitch, powerful range, and uncanny ability to capture the voices of classic rock's greatest singers, Dave is also an accomplished piano and guitar player.
Dave is a six-time Best Male Vocalist award recipient, including being named Best Male Vocalist in SuburbaNites Magazine's 2012 Best of the 'Burbs Readers' Poll. He's also a songwriter and graphic artist and has had the opportunity to collaborate multiple times with Grammy-winning songwriter and Survivor co-founder Jim Peterik, whose catalog includes some of rock's most enduring songs.
And baseball? He's still happiest sitting at the old ballpark watching the Cubs.
Well...almost.
Nothing beats being onstage.
Dave Uhrich
Guitar
Dave began playing guitar at 11 years of age. After receiving his degree from the American Conservatory of Music in Chicago, he became a member of its faculty, as well as a faculty member of several other colleges in the area.
In addition to spending many years as a teacher in the college world, Dave regularly gives instructional clinics nationwide, as well as internationally. Dave has won the "Chicago's Hottest Guitarist" competition an amazing 5 times, has been awarded a 'Radio Top Ten' Award, and was nominated for an "American Jazz Masters Fellowship" awarded by the National Endowment for the Arts. In its April 2007 issue, Classic Rock Magazine placed Dave at #31 in its list of "100 Wildest Guitar Heroes."
Dave has released 3 critically acclaimed solo CDs, has done motion picture, television and commercial studio work for many big name brands (McDonald's, Nintendo, Coors), and has had compositions performed by The London Philharmonic Orchestra.
He is a product endorser and product specialist for Ibanez guitars, and is an endorser for Laney Amplifiers, Seymour Duncan and Rocktron, and has toured extensively all over the world.
Bobby Scumaci
Keyboards
Born into a family of musicians and performing live by the age of 10, Bobby has spent a lifetime surrounded by music. He is an accomplished musician, prolific songwriter, studio owner and producer — in other words, he's the quintessential career musician.
His credits include 10 years on the road with classic rock legend and Hall of Famer Dave Mason (Traffic), and appearances with Spencer Davis, Edgar Winter, Gary Wright, Mick Fleetwood, Al Di Meola and many others. Bobby has also composed original scores for a number of video games and films, and his dynamic and enduring career as an artist has been an education that only the experience itself could provide.
Bobby's laid back style, quick fingers and vocal ability have given the band a dimension that can be seen on stage during performances. He's extremely happy to be a part of the Hi Infidelity family, and promises that one day soon he'll be bringing the band over to Mama Scumaci's for some pasta and braccioli, Sicilian-style.
Jeff Kissel
Drums
Jeff Kissel brings energy, precision, and a deep passion for music to Hi Infidelity as their drummer. Growing up in a musical family with a mom who was a professional singer, Jeff was destined to follow a rhythmic path. Inspired by legends like Buddy Rich, Eddie and Alex Van Halen, and Neil Peart of Rush, his dynamic style reflects both technical mastery and raw power.
A dedicated drum teacher, Jeff loves sharing his knowledge and inspiring the next generation of drummers. When he's not behind the kit, he enjoys fishing and outdoor adventures, adding a touch of zen to his rock 'n' roll life. Above all, he's thrilled to be part of Hi Infidelity and bringing the beat to fans everywhere.
Danny Weymouth
Bass
Danny began playing bass at age 11 with his brother and a good friend. He is no stranger to the cover band world, previously playing with 7th Heaven, He Said She Said, Ninety-Seven Nine and 16 Candles. He can also put original bands on his résumé, playing in Redshirt and Supermint.
Danny says: "I am so incredibly grateful and thankful to be selected to be in such a prestigious band! I've been amazingly fortunate to play with so many gifted musicians through the years, and this feels like the pinnacle of that journey! Being a product of the 80's, I am a huge fan of all the bands that line the Hi Infidelity set list. I'm super excited to get out and get playing!"
